Once again, the Hounds of East Fairhaven were invited to participate in the Enchanted Chalice faire in Greenville. It is a great venue and we really appreciate being able to be part of it. I took Finnegan this year. He handles heat better than my Greyhounds do and he was the star last year so I thought it would be fun to take him again (also, I ran out of time to bathe Lorelei and she was very dirty). People remembered him from last year and, of course, had a lot of questions. I got to embrace the more relaxed environment and dress as more of a period Spanish gypsy one day and that was awesome!

Lorelei and I traveled to Georgia with some of the lovely ladies of the Hounds of East Fairhaven to work the Georgia Renaissance Festival. It was a fabulous weekend! We were able to be part of the royal court and we sat in special places at the joust and in the royal pavilion. We will definitely return next season!

This is our fourth year as members of the Hounds of East Fairhaven working at the Carolina Renaissance Festival. This year I took our foster Ninety, Delilah, Lorelei, and Nova on various weekends. Lorelei and Delilah are pros at festival. Ninety and Nova both did well for their first times.
Erica joined us for a weekend and we had a blast! She wrote a touching piece about Greyhounds inspired by Lorelei. https://www.facebook.com/notes/critterdoodle-art/the-true-beauty-of-greyhounds/184316898322007
